Question: If my brother and I inheritated my mothers house in Texas, we turned around and sold it for 80,000, after paying the aunt, and real estate lady, my brother and I got 20,000 each. I live in MD and my bvrother lives in Florida. Do we have to pay taxes on the 80,000? And do we have to report this when I file my MD taxes. |
