Question: I don't have enough money put aside for a down payment, but I can afford to pay a mortgage. What should I do?

Try contacting your local housing authority. They may have a program structured for a no-down-payment or a low-down-payment loan. If you qualify for the loan program, you'll be able to start shopping for your new home. |

When it comes down to 100% financing you need to have a credit score of 680 min or CMHC or GE will not except the application. If you don;t have a score that high on your credit then look at getting a line of credit that you can use to pay the down payment.
