Question: We just made an offer on a REO property. We expected a counter offer, but the offer was rejected. What next? We are willing to go higher, but we don't know where to start. The market value is probably about 195,000 but is decreasing rapidly. We offered 128,000 plus asked for $6000 in closing costs. We knew this was low, but also knew we couldnt go back and ask for a lower price later. So we started low hoping they would give a counter offer and we could meet somewhere in the middle. Advice? |
