Question: My house has an old brick fireplace in the middle of the house, separating the kitchen and livingroom. I would like to remove the fireplace so I can expand the kitchen to make an open concept. The water heater vents through to the chimney but the gas company said this can be changed. Is it possible to totally remove the chimney and fireplace? |
