Title of Question:
bedroom flooring and resale |
|
Question: The upstairs in my house has 12 year old carpet that is disgusting. My wife and I are planning on selling in 12-18 months so we don't want to put a ton of money into this but we have to do something. I can't find any info on what the best flooring is for recouping the costs in resale: ceramic tile, pergo, new carpet, hardwood. In case the region or price range matter, we live in the Pacific NW and it's a 1200 sq ft condo that we expect to sell for about $400,000. We're doing other projects too but the flooring is one that I can't find any info on for resale value. Any idea where to check? |
