Instead of trying to find the "Right Mortgage", why not focus on the "Best Mortgage For Your Needs" by answering the following:
How much do I want to (or can afford to) spend a month on my new home's mortgage payment?
How long do I plan on living in my home before I move or simply sell it?
How much money do I have to put down today?
Once you have the answers to these questions, simply pass them on to about 3 banks and mortgage brokers and go from there. There really is no "Right Mortgage" per-say as it all depends on what you're trying to accomplish with the mortgage. Good Luck!
