Well, it is very hard to talk about Auburn Alabama without talking about the Auburn University…because, well, without the university there would be no Auburn, probably. Not that any of that matter, there is a University of Auburn and that place kicks butt in just about everything it does.

Firstly, the university is always at the top in just about every athletic category. The best example of course are the Alabama Tigers football team. Year in year out they are one of the most feared squads in all of the NCAA. They routinely dominate their opponents and are always contenders for the NCAA national championship.

Also, the basketball team and the track team aren’t all that bad either.

The Auburn also excels in academics of all kinds. Not the least of which is the giant med school that provides a hospital to local people and pumps out hundreds of qualified doctors and surgeons per year.

The presence of the University has also blessed the city with many parks and a great nightlife, not to mention all of the student housing opportunities that you can take advantage of with some crafty real estate moves.
