The City of Bentonville is located in Benton County, in northwestern Arkansas, where it serves as the county seat. The city is sitauted 20 miles from Fayetteville and a 120 miles from Tulsa, Oklahoma. The population of Bentonville is approximately 21,000 people.

There is probably no place in Arkansas as proseperous as Bentonville. Bentonville is Wal-Mart's headquarters and is among the county’s largest employers with distribution centers, a printing plant, a photo shop, fixture shop, home offices and stores thriving in the city. Other major employers include Krispy Kitchens, Bates Medical Center, Bentonville Casting Company, CEI Engineering Associates, Inc., CTS Corporation, Fuji Photo Film U.S.A. Inc. and Rogers Tool Works.

In addition to one of the most highly recognized public school systems in the State of Arkansas, there are also many opportunities for post-secondary education including Northwest Arkansas Community College and two four-year institutions within a 30-mile radius, the University of Arkansas and John Brown University.
