Blytheville, Arkansas

Blytheville, Arkansas is home to one of the two Mississippi County Courthouses, the other is in Osceola. Blytheville's Riverport mill complex is the second largest steel-producing site in the nation.

Once known only for its agricultural areas, today Blytheville's manufacturing employees make up 35% of the total employment in the area. The Great River Road, a federally-designated route, follows U.S. 61 north to south through Mississippi County, and is part of a scenic byway that parallels the mighty river from Canada to the Gulf. Blytheville has approximately 41% of the population of Mississippi County.
