Today many people simply think of Arkansas as the home of Wal-Mart and Bill Clinton, but Arkansas is home to another great thing, and that is the city of Greenwood. While Greenwood is not as prolific as Wal-Mart, nor as prolific as Bill Clinton, it is a great little city whose residents have great pride in. They really feel like the town is their town and not just some place where they live. But as it happens more and more people are coming to see Greenwood as a place that is their own, as the size of the town is growing at a pretty decent clip. This is great news for the real estate market here.

Some people are forecasting Arkansas to be the next major boom state. Essentially because it has been ignored for so long. Land here in Arkansas is pretty cheap so developers are coming here in droves to build new subdivisions for all of the new people who are arriving here everyday. And why are all of these people arriving? Because the technology sector is finally realizing that they can take advantage of the cheap land in Arkansas as well. Here is an example: A high tech company can relocate their facilities here and hire the locals as support staff. They do not pay high rent and taxes for the land so they can pay their workers a good wage. This good wage thus attracts high tech talent from out of state. This out of state talent can then buy large beautiful homes for a decent price because the land is still very cheap. And they also like the climate.
