Adelanto, California

The City of Adelanto was incorporated as a General Law City in 1970. In 1992, by vote of the electorate, the City was chartered and now functions as a Charter City with a five member elected City Council and a City Manager form of government.

Only fifteen minutes away, the Mall of Victor Valley offers one hundred ten (110) outlets for the shopper. Thirty (30) minutes north on Interstate 15, the Factory Merchants Mall of Barstow offers 50 outlets with another 34 additional outlets planned. According to Consumer Reports, this Mall is considered one of the top ten Factory Outlets in the United States.

Adelanto is located on US Highway 395, in the California High Desert, 35 miles (56KM) north of San Bernardino via Interstate 15. Highway 395, "The Three Flags Highway", provides a direct link between Baja California and Canada. Caltrans reports an average of 14,000 vehicles go through Adelanto daily on this busy highway. Interstate 15 provides a route north to Nevada and south to the metropolitan Las Angeles and San Diego area.
