Real Estate Fremont - CA
Fremont Real Estate Information

Located in the Southeast San Francisco Bay Area, Fremont, California was born in 1956, from the merger of five smaller communities - Mission San Jose, Irvington, Niles, Centerville, and Warm Springs. It is the fourth most populous city in the Bay Area. At 92 square miles, it is California's fifth largest city in area.

Although it has been a city only since 1956, Fremont has enjoyed a long history as a mission town, supply center for gold miners, movie making location, and health resort.

The city is home to such attractions as Mission San Jose de Guadalupe, where a fine restoration of the original built in 1809 has been completed. The chapel is dazzling with its beautifully restored paintings, chandeliers, and ornate gold-leaf altar. Also, the Museum on Coyote Hill incudes artifacts from the Ohlone Indians.

Set the the spectacular Bay Area, Fremont provides plenty of recreational opportunities. Central Park surrounding Lake Elizabeth has swimming, sailing, and fishing opportunities. At nearby Coyote Hills Regional Park, you can follow the boardwalk into the marsh for extraordinary bird watching, explore 2,400-year-old Indian shell mounds, and see the recreated Indian village. You can also visit Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge.

Like any other place in the Bay Area, real estate remains the hottest commodity, and the greatest investment one can make!
