Marina, California

Marina city is located on the stunning Monterey Bay. The city of Marina is 108 miles south of San Francisco and 355 miles north of Los Angeles. The climate is Mediterranean climate with moderate rains, lots and lots of sunshine and clear air. In Marina there are two harbors and three airports within 10 miles of the city. The city known as "Marina" was established in 1918, and incorporated in November of 1975.

Marina is spread over, approximately 9,000 acres of land and it runs 4 3/4 miles north along the Pacific Ocean from the north former Fort Ord boundary to the Salinas River and back southeast for 4 miles along the river to the former Fritzsche Air Field boundary. The city is basically a one, gorgeous beach and a seaside with lovely buildings, amazing weather and happy people.

Marina prides itself on being the seventh most ethnically diverse population in the USA. The city has a population close to 26,000 and it's considered one of the most attractive places to live in, in its area. There are lots of things to do in Marina, such as surfing, boating and hiking. People here are relaxed and happy and are always ready to welcome new neighbors.
