San Leandro is a great North Californian city located between the great cities of San Francisco and San Jose. It serves as a residential base for both as it sits right on the connecting I-880.

The city is known for its friendly small-town feel despite its proximity to the booming city of San Francisco. Diversity and heritage are celebrated aspects of San Leandro life. Everyone in the city enjoys the 450-berth Marina, two golf courses, and the massive community library.

One claim to fame is the city's prosperous cherry farms. The area became famous for its great-tasting cherries and celebrated its first Cherry Festival in 1909. The event (and the cherries) has been enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of people over the last hundred years!
