West Puente Valley is a small suburb town in the Great Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. The population of 22,000 is mainly Hispanic, and lives 30 miles from downtown Los Angeles and just 16 miles from Anaheim. As such, many locals commute to work in the nearby entertianment district of Anaheim or in th bustling city of Los Angeles.

West Peunte Valley is actually located west of the city of La Puente with a population of 40,000. Being in a valley, West Peunte valley enjoys a lush landscape with ample water supply.

For recreation, residents can travel 30 minutes to the shores of the Pacific and visit one of Los Angeles' many awesome beaches. To the west, the desert offers many interested locales for outdoor activities. To the north, the Los Angeles National Forest is a great place to camp out on the weekends.
