Indian River Shores is one of the Jewels of Florida. As you drive along the ocean on A1A, lush landscaping separates the road from the beautiful communities nestled beside. This area is between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River, also known as the Barrier Island or Orchid Island.

Jaycee Park is located near the south end of Indian River Shores with a public park, public beach, boardwalk and the Seaside Cafe. Several small public beach areas with parking are located near the north end of Indian River Shores. The per capita income in Indian River Shores is among the highest in the United States.
