This was never more apparent than during the recent string of hurricanes that smashed the state and left the residents of the city scrambling to protect what they had, and to protect their own lives. Thanks in large part to the emergency response teams in the city the citizens of Pembroke Pines were largely spared from serious casualties and catastrophes.

Regrettably some folks weren’t as fortunate as others and they bore the full brunt of the Hurricanes destructive fury. For these unlucky souls there was still hope. Within moments after the Hurricane, people rallied to their side and helped them try and salvage what little they had left. They also helped in the clean-up effort, which was so crucial at the time because loose debris from one Hurricane could easily turn into deadly weapons for the next.

This is just one example of why Pembroke Pines is one of the outstanding communities in Florida and the whole United States.
