Located in beautiful southwestern Florida, the community of Estero is situated along state highway 41, which runs parallel to nearby I-75. The stunning Estero River, which runs through the community and empties into Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. The meandering Estero River is a haven for wildlife and it is not uncommon to spot predatory birds like hawks, eagles, and ospreys circling the air and diving for fish. Also, you may see the playful behavior of sea otters in the river or in Estero Bay.

Estero is an elegant community that is part of Lee County. Located between the cities of Fort Myers and Naples, about 15 miles apart from each city, Estero is never too far from big city amenities and attractions. Not that Estero is limited in attractions. There is so much to do in and around Estero that you’ll be busy all year round.

The Estero River and Estero Bay is great for canoeing and kayaking to view wildlife and the lush tropical forests it winds through. Mound Key State Park and Koreshan State Historic Site are great destinations for hiking and viewing ancient relics before European settlers arrived. The Pelican Sound and River Club is a lavish facility on the western outskirts of the community that is home to 27 holes of championship-caliber golf and other recreational facilities. And you can’t forget the pristine white-sand beaches along Estero Bay.
