Brunswick is a city located in Glynn County, Georgia. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 15,600. The city is the county seat of Glynn County and is a port city. It was once called the shrimp capital of the world, due to the tasty wild shrimp harvested in the waters nearby.
