Fort McPherson Real Estate Information Fort McPherson is a U.S. Army base located in southwest Atlanta, Georgia, in Fulton County. It is the home to the Third U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve Command (USARC), and Forces Command (FORSCOM). In addition, Fort McPherson hosts 4,500 to 5,000 local, state and international guests, who take tours of, or book events, at Forts McPherson and Gillem each year.
