Located in western Georgia near the Alabama state line is the hidden but not forgotten community of Upatoi. Upatoi is within the boundaries of Muscogee County, where the city of Columbus is the county seat. Columbus is close to Upatoi, being only 11 miles west on state highway 80.

This quiet little community also is positioned on the north side of the world famous and notorious Fort Benning, the world's largest infantry training facility in the world. The Fort is home to the infamous School of Americas where the American government have trained such well-known dictators from developing countries all over the world.

But don't worry, these guys are just locals around here. You can mingle with them when you see them on the streets, buy them the beverage at the closest social club, or get them to wash your car. Its all about family here in Upatoi, there is no prejudice or discrimination here, no sir.

Nearby Columbus is a great place to visit. Besides being a commercial, financial, and administrative hub of the area, Columbus features some top-notch attractions. These include the Columbus Museum, Little White House Historic Site, and Oxbow Meadows.
