Warner Robins is a city located in the heart of Georgia some 120 miles south of Atlanta. It's conveniently located at the intersection of two Interstates, the I-16 and the busy I-75. It is among the fastest growing cities within the State and houses many diverse cultures and ethnicities. Its great location also means that Georgia's breathtaking mountains and beaches are only a short trip away.

At the latest count, the population of Warner Robins was some 50,000 people. The county of Houston has enjoyed a growth rate comparable to the rest of the State, having increased from 89,208 in 1990 to 116,768 in 2002.

The city is served by a Municipal Airport while Intercity bus services are available by coach. There are 20 elementary schools, 7 middle schools, and 5 high schools. Higher education includes the Georgia Military College, Macon State College, and Middle Georgia Technical College. A few minutes away in the nearby city of Macon is Mercer University, Wesleyan College, and the main campus for macon State College.

The city has deep roots in military aviation. In fact, Warner Robins was incorporated as a city built entirely around the Robins Air Force Base. Today, the Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins is one of the best Air Museums in the cuontry.
