Mililani, Hawaii

Mililani Town is a town located near the center of O'ahu Island, on the plateau or "central valley" between the two volcanic mountains that comprise the island. It is in the Ewa District and the City & County of Honolulu. As of the 2000 Census, the town had a total population of 28,608.

Even though Mililani Town is essentially a large residential subdivision, it has commercial shopping centers, schools, parks, and a golf course, and resembles a modern American suburban town. Development has occurred on either side of Kamehameha Highway and mostly west of Interstate H-2. However, in more recent years, expansion has been to the east of the Interstate in the Mililani Mauka subdivisions.
