Idaho Falls is located in the heart of some of the world's best known recreation areas including Yellowstone and Grand Teton National parks, Targhee, Sun Valley, Henry's Lakeand several national forests. Idaho Falls is the county seat of Bonneville County in the eastern part of Idaho and is a regional center for shopping, education, medical care, and cultural activities.
