We’ve all heard about Oktoberfest, the celebration of beer, dancing and pretzels that takes place all around the world where German folks have moved to. But how many people have heard about Septemberfest, very few I imagine.

That’s because Septemberfest is held in Schaumburg IL. and like Oktoberfest, it is an extremely fun time. Local bands and performers it the streets for your pleasure and all of the restaurants downtown dust off their best bottles of booze and let the people drink to their hearts content.

This is also the time where the city gets to showcase off of its best public works, including its first rate emergency response teams and it’s marvelous utilities. There are also lots of prize giveaways and freebies for the kids. Truly Septemberfest is Schaumburg’s time to outshine all of its Illinois neighbors.

So if you are looking to invest in real estate anywhere in Illinois, I would suggest hitting Schaumburg at any time of the year, but especially in September, when the city is really in full bloom.

You can talk to the locals as well, because they are more approachable then, than at any other time of the year. I think it probably has somthing to do with the cider.
