While many people immediately think of the flat plains of Indiana and assume that it's a boring place to live, they are obviously not thinking about such cities as Fishers.

Although Fishers isn't necessarily a flahsy city, it is a very comfortable place to live. With a high quality of life, Fishers is an affluent community with a highly educated population. Located in Hamilton County, this rapidly growing city had a total population of 37,835 according to the 2000 census. However, a special census taken in 2004 showed that Fisher's population had risen to 52,390.

Located just north and east of Indianapolis, Fisher is conveniently located to major transportation routes like I-465 and I-69 that make it an attractive place to live. With a thriving local economy, Fisher is also commended for its strong school system and first-rate health care facilities. Home to nine parks, several golf course, and a state of the art YMCA, there's ample opportunities in Fisher to get out and do something. The Geist and Morse Reservoirs are situated close to Fisher and provide residents the opportunity for water recreation.

A place lauded for its strong family values, Fisher is also home to the living museum Conner Prairie, which presents Indiana life in three different periods of the 19th century.
