Newton Kansas is one of my favorite places in the Midwest. While the city is small (it only has a population of about 20,000 people) and it doesn’t really have anything interesting enough to convince young people to stay and start a life there, they still make large efforts with public money to ensure that the kids growing up there have a good experience that will give them the confidence to go forth and have a productive life.

A prime example of this commitment can be found in the recent building of a skate park in the downtown core. Before, young kids were constantly getting in trouble for riding their skateboards, their BMX bikes and their roller blades in public places. Now, with a 10,000$ skate park, the kids a have safe place to go.

This also protects public property and the public in general from these highflying youngsters. So if you are looking to buy or sell a home in a place of the sate where they honest care about young people and don’t just pay lip service, I would suggest you go to Newton Kansas. A city that truly cares about its future.

Plus, there are plenty of old and new homes there that are just waiting to be bought and sold. You could get in on this action, and make some sweet cash in the process.
