Bardstown Kentucky is not exactly what you would call a sleepy community, but it’s not really a hustle and bustle type place either. Located pretty much right in the heart of the great state of Kentucky this community has a lot going for it. First of all it has great balance between traditional values and the new American values that stand to keep the community competitive for years to some. What exactly does this mean? Well, I’ll fill you in.

By traditional values, I means people here in Bardstown still love to hunt and fish, just like their forefather and their fathers did. This is a community activity that people of all ages and genders participate in. This also means that people here like to get together and just talk about their family and exchange stories about the community. You know real simple stuff.

But on the flip side the city of Bardstown has attracted its fair share of new economy business and people here are realizing that their children’s future might look a little different than the one they are used to. But they are taking this in stride and the community is better for it. And best of all, prices here have not gone up in a long time so people’s standard of living has actually increased. This a great achievement for such a small palce.
