The community of Taylor Mill was named after the modest mill constructed by one James Taylor. You may be thinking, "Wow, I didn't know that James Taylor was so versatile. How did he find the time to balance being a best selling folk musician, being married to Carole King, and also building a mill for a small little community in Kentucky!" To which I would reply, "Wrong James Taylor, the James Taylor that built that mill was from much older and probably not as charismatic, although that is purely speculation."

The City of Taylor Mill is located in northern Kentucky's Kenton County and is home to a population of approximately 7,500 people. Taylor Mill is part of the Greater Cincinnati Metropolitan Area, with the heart of the "Queen City" of Cincinnati being about 10 miles to the north over the Ohio River.

Largely a residential community, the citizens of Taylor Mill don't have to go too far for lucrative business and employment opportunities. Public transportation throughout the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area is effective and efficient. Also, the major cities of Indianapolis, Louisville, Dayton, and Columbus are all within a hour-to-two hours commute, making Taylor Mill a very central location.
