Sometimes we often think that all of America is one big homogeneous place where the majority of the people speak English and we all watch the same shows on television and we all see the same movies in the movie theater. But this is not always the case. Especially when you take a look at the culture in Louisiana…and in particular Reserve Louisiana. Reserve is a very small community even by Louisiana standards but that doesn’t mean that it is just like every other small town in the United States. IN fact in many ways Reserve is an anomaly in the United States. Reserve is pure Louisiana and the people who live here are proud of that.

But what does it mean to be pure Louisiana? Well for starters it means that family and community and country come first. This is not a selfish place where people will crawl all over each other just to get what they want. No Reserve is a place where people take acre of each other no matter is times are good or if they are bad, and there have been plenty of both in this great little city. But currently the times here in Reserve have been pretty good. The economy is doing well and new homes are being built here at a rate that the city has not seen since right after the Second World War.

With this new booming market for building homes comes a new interest in the real estate market. Homes here have gone up in value modestly and people are buying them at prices that seem to bode well for a good investment.
