Brockton is a city located in Plymouth County, in the state of Massachusetts, in the middle of Boston, Cape Cod, and Providence, and only a few hours drive from NYC, The city is known as the City of Champions, mainly due to the success of former boxing title holders, Rocky Marciano and Marvin Hagler.

Brockton has a rich industrial history. It was the shoe manufacturing center of the region from the late 18th century through the 1950's. Today, Brockton is currently amidst a major resurgence. It has devoted millions of dollars in new construction projects such as the transformation of Westgate Mall, and construction of a new $35 million dollar courthouse, and a new baseball stadium for its successful minor league baseball team.

For history buffs, Brockton hosts the Fuller Museum of Art, felt by residents to be one of the finest small museums in the country, as well as the Brockton Historical Society Complex, which has exhibits dedicated to Thomas Edison.

Brockton has a great natural balance as a city with a close community. The community prides itself on its diversity, and the many facilities adorned around town. It is rapidly becoming a top place to live in the Eastern United States.
