The Town of Framingham, with a population of 65,000 people, is located mid-way between Boston and Worcester in Middlesex County, Massachussets. It is the hub of the Metro-West region.

From its founding in 1700, Framingham has supported a variety of industries. The mills and factories that flourished encouraged the growth of the Saxonville area of the town and the downtown. Today, the town continues to flourish, as it is home to medical, retail, educational, office and biotechnical industries. Framingham is famous for the Framingham Heart Study at Framingham State College, as well as for the Dennison Manufacturing Company.

With a unique blend of urban and rural qualities, Framingham offers recreational activities of all sorts for its residents from the many organized team sports leagues to the nationally renowned Garden in the Woods, which houses a number of rare wildflowers. The vibrant retail area along Route 9 lies close by quiet residential areas and the town common.
