Perhaps you know the City of Livingston as the "Gateway to the Yellowstone Park", one of the country's most revered national monuments. Established as a railway stop by the Northern Pacific Railway Co., Livingston was the last stop before a train would head into the breathtaking Bozeman Pass, the highest point on the train route. Later on, Northern Pacific Railway then got the notion of building a railway line south into Yellowstone Park. The company then promoted the park heavily along the east coast of the country, which consequently resulted in Livingston being the gateway city.

Nestled in southern Montana's Paradise Valley, Livingston is surrounded by some of the most stunning scenery found anywhere in the world! Situated along Yellowstone River in Park County, Livingston is enveloped by four majestic mountain range, lush woodlands and forest that stretch on as far as the eye can see, and an abundance of attractions that has made it into one of the most visited areas in the "Treasure State" of Montana.
