There is one thing that the United States has always relied on…and that is it’s fantastic military. From the revolutionary war onward, the United States has had one of the best standing armies in the world, and today, it has the easily the best standing army of all history. This dedication to protecting our nation also has some social benefits. By providing jobs the military is ensuring the economic future of many communities across the country. This is very apparent at Nellis Air Force Base.

Nellis, without the AFB would not be much of a place to crow about. Sure it would have all of the small town charm that it has now, but it would not have the same sense of purpose and duty that it has now.
