Situated among the quaint backdrop of rolling hills, broad valleys and glittering lakes, approximately 50 miles northwest of New York City lies the charming little community of Succasunna-Kenvil. Succasunna-Kenvil is located in Morris County within the borders of Roxbury township. The population of Saccusunna-Kenvil is approximately 13,000 people.

Settled in 1740 and incorporated in 1798, the Saccusunna-Kenvil community within Roxbury Township contains some of the oldest settlements in the county. The name of Succasunna comes from the Leni-Lenape Indian word for Black Rock, most likely due to the rich iron-ore deposits in the area.

Morris County is among the fastest growing counties in the New Jersey, New York, Connecticut metropolitan region. Its close proximity to major transportation outlets is one of the reasons many businesses are locating or relocating here. Saccasunna-Kenvil is a retail hub for the entire county. Its strip malls houses major retail businesses like Home Depot and Walmart.

Roxbury Township students repeatedly exceed national norms on standardized tests of reading, language, mathematics, science and social studies. Also offered is a strong environmental education program. Not far from the Township is the famed Rabbinical College Of America, where students receive a wonderful, rich education.
