When it comes to excitement, the Garden State cannot compete with nearby New York. Census designated communities like West Caldwell represent the best of small town New Jersey life. One of the Garden State's most historic cities, West Caldwell is situated in scenic Essex Community. Formerly a part of the larger town of Caldwell, West Caldwell enjoys excellent location. The community is conveniently situated just a little more than 10 miles away from Newark and less than 30 miles away fron New York City.

However, access to major urban centers isn't the only thing that West Caldwell offers its residents. Rather West Caldwell has a number of local attractions including Grover Cleveland Park. Additionally, West Caldwell has an excellent school system that it shares with neighboring Caldwell.
