Alamogordo New Mexico…if you are an American history buff, or even a physics student you’ll know exactly what Alamogordo is famous for. If you don’t know right away I’ll tell you.

It was the middle of the Second World War and many of Europe’s best scientists had fled Nazi Germany to the United States. With them, they brought the deadly secret of the Hydrogen Bomb and the neutron Bomb…otherwise known as the Atomic Bomb.

Almost immediately, the United States put these scientists to create a bomb of their own that they thought might bring the war to a speedy conclusion. What happened at Alamogordo would forever change the face of the world and send the world into a new age…the nuclear age.
