For a quaint town of only 190,000, Duhram has some great aspirations. The city is located in central North Carolina and is home to some very important institutions.

One nickname for Duhram is "City of Medicine, USA." The city has earned this prestigious title by having an extreme dedication to the medical sciences. The city has a physician-to-patient ratio four times higher than the national average. Great hospitals, healthcare giants, and research facilities operate year round and employ one in four residents.

The city of Duhram is also dedicated to education. The famous Duke University and North Carolina Central University are all based here. They band together to form the renowned Research Triangle Park. Unlike any other venture in the States, this research area is a joint venture betwee the Universities and companies around the world. It spans 7000 acres of pine forest and only 1000 acres of development. There are about 100 R&D facilities employing well over 35,0000 locals. This park is so powerful that it generates $1.2 billion in salaries per year!

Are you amazed by this small city yet? It's also been the focus of a wildly popular move: Bull Durham. The movie was based on the fictional exploits of the local international league team, the Duhram Bulls.
