Situated in Eastern North Carolina, midway between historic New Bern and the beautiful beaches of the Crystal Coast, lies the City of Havelock. Located in the Craven County, Havelock has a population of approximately 23,000 people. It is one of eight cities in the world named after British general, Sir Henry Havelock.

Havelock continues to be a growing community ranking 32nd in the state. In 1940, Havelock became the home of Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Station. The Naval Depot located on the air station has provided abundant employment opportunities for local residents. While this strong and progressive community is dedicated to supporting the mission of Cherry Point, the city continues to explore other alternatives for economic growth and development.

Only 20 minutes away from New Bern and the sparkling sands of the Crystal Coast, residents have plenty of things to do in Havelock.
