Canton, Ohio, is a small city situated on the I-77 south of Akron and Cleaveland. The city has a population of 80,000 but the metroplitan population is a cool 400,000.

History is a big part of Canton life, with the first recorded settlements dating back to 1806. Today, many of the city's homes, churches, and buildings are registered as National Historic Places.

Residents celebrate their past with glowing monuments like the President William McKinley Memorial and Museum, the National First Ladies Historic Site, and the National Pro Football Hall of Fame. Other great museums include the Canton Classic Car Museum and the Amateur Sport Hall of Fame.

Transportation is abundant here, as the interstate runs right through the heart of the city. Cleaveland is only an hour's drive away, while Akron is a quick 20 minute drive. Further out, residents can easily reach Pittsburgh and Columbus within a few hours.

Considered to be the birthdplace of professional Football, residents here are gung-ho about their sports. In fact, the oldest high school football rivalry in the country exists between McKinley and Massilon highs chools. The Canton area is also known as Ohio's Golf Capital. There are many private and public gof clubs to visit here.
