Sprawling for 50 miles along the shores of Lake Erie, Cleveland is an industrial hub of the heartland, and the largest city in the state of Ohio. Once a microcosm of American industrial revolution, complete with steel mills, oil refineries, and auto and electronics plants as far as the eye could see.

Once infamous for its 'burning river' of the 1950s and '60s, Cleveland has overcome its image as an environmental disaster area, leaving behind its gritty, grimy past to become a model of urban reengineering.

The city is home to one of the country's most all-American attractions: the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, as well as the Great Lakes Science Center, and Maritime Museum. The city also boasts some of the most dedicated sport fans, supporting their Browns (football), Indians (Baseball), and Cavs (basketball).

Cleveland's rebirth is the result of luck, vision, and good old American-style fortitude. Despite its forward-thinking vitality, Cleveland's industrial foundation is very much in evidence. Optimism is abound among its residents from all the amazing progress the city has made in a short period of time.
