Mason, Ohio, is a small-town environment just 35 mintues from the major city of Cincinatti. To the north, Dayton Ohio is also about 40 minutes away. The city is strategically located between the I-75 and the I-71, with US Route 42 passing through the region as well. It is a major transport hub for goods moving north and south in this busy commercial corridor. Despite this, the city has maintained a warm friendly feeling among its 22,000 or so residents.

Founded in 1815 by Major William Mason as the Village of Palmyra, it was changed to Mason after his death some 20 years later in his honor.

Transportation is critical to the life of residents here as most commute to nearby Cincinatti for work during the week. Air transport is readily available at the Cincinatti/Northern Kentucky International Airport which is 55 minutes away.

Shopping is a big part of commerce in the region, with four major shopping malls within a 20 minute drive from the downtown Mason area.
