North Royalton, Ohio

North Royalton became a township in November 1919, was incorporated as a village in April 27 and achieved city status in January 1961. North Royalton is a charted municipal corporation established and operated under the laws of the State of Ohio. A Charter was first adopted by the electorate on January 1, 1952.

North Royalton's recreational facilities consist of four parks, eight baseball diamonds, four soccer fields and three tennis courts. City Services include a full-time Police and Fire Department that includes paramedic services, waste water treatment, street repairs, rubbish pick-up, recycling, a city-owned cemetery and animal warden.

North Royalton's excellent school system and a sense of community combined with the most beautiful terrain in Northeast Ohio make this city a most desirable place to live, work, and raise a family.
