When people hear the state name Oklahoma, they immediately conjure up images of bored people. However, these people have never been to Bartlesville, one of the most unique and exciting cities in the entire country. The county seat of Washington County, Bartlesville is close to the Kansas/Oklahoma state line and is just forty-seven miles north of Tulsa.

Best known for being the longtime home of Phillips Petroleum Company (now merged with Conoco as ConocoPhillips), Bartleville is also home to the Price Tower. This beautiful skyscraper has the distinction of being the only skyscraper designed by the famed Frank Lloyd Wright that was actually built.

One of only two places in the Sooner State where a Lenape tribe lives, Bartlesville is home to approximately 35,000 residents. A town that was built by the oil industry, Bartlesville was awared the distinction by National Demographics Magazine as the 21st most livable city in the country and the most livable city in Oklahoma.

Although Bartlesville takes great pride in its small town charm and friendly atmosphere, it is also home to a world-class art collection and a big-game preserve that contains many native and exotic examples like the American Bison, Elk, and Zebra. This unique city is also home to beautiful parks and an excellent school system that produces more National Merit Semifinalists than any other high school in the state.
