The City of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania is situated on the Allergy River in the northwest section of the state. The county seat,Canonsburg is home to more than 10,000 residents and is the center of the county's business, tourist, and recreational endeavors.

The City contains 21 parks with 180 acres and is the gateway to the National Forest. As the county seat and the industrial and commercial center of the County, Canonsburg effectively serves a population of approximately 15,000. A diversified economic base, containing 46 manufacturers, employing 6,900 people, has provided the City with financial stability and growth.

Supported in the 19th and 20th centuries by timber and oil industries, Canonsburg's distinctive architecture encompasses 5 different styles and includes one the largest and most unique collections of historic properties in the state. The Canonsburg Historic District is comprised of eight blocks in the heart of the City and features over 100 historic structures.
