Franklin County is a beautiful area of Pennsylvania, incorporating parts of the Appalachian mountain range and other spectacular sights. Inside this natural beauty spot is Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; a 17,000 strong community lying in a 24 mile valley, between two mountain ranges.

Chambersburg, Pennsylvania is most famous for fishing. The falling spring river that passes through this quaint town is one of the finest trout streams on the East Coast; even former president Jimmy Carter used to fish this river. Mainly a vacation and rural community Chambersburg, Pennsylvanian has great links with the larger cities like Hagerstown, Baltimore and Philadelphia. There is a real sense of community in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and this is most prominent each year in July when the residents get together and host Chambersfest; an amazingly diverse and unique arts festival that people come from miles around to see and experience.

It’s a slower pace of live in this Pennsylvania beauty spot, and whilst it doesn’t come with all the bangs and whistles of larger cities it does have its own charm and aura that make it a happy home, for a great many people.
