East Providence Rhode Island really does represent everything that New England is all about. Firstly, the city is located right on the water, so a brief stroll around, and you truly feel like you are in a maritime environment. Just look out for the cities famous (or infamous) seagull population. Let’s just say they’re keeping the dry cleaning and car wash economy rolling.

Of course, you can’t really spend time in East Providence without trying many of the delicious seafood restaurants the city has to offer. If you like cod, crab or even lobster this the place to get it cheap and get it fresh. Yum.

But, the one thing that East Providence is really known for around the world is its graduates. Brown University is one of the most prestigious schools in all of the country and has helped nurture some of the countries most prolific minds. While, it doesn’t have the cache of say, Harvard or Yale, it produces a more artistic and sophisticated class of students who don’t dream of taking over the world, but rather making it a better place.

It’s hard to go wrong with real estate in East Providence; because living there is so great you’ll never want to leave. It’s gotta be all that sea air.
