Covington, Tennessee

Covington is one of the choice places to live in the area. The city is only 60 minutes from downtown Memphis. Many of the residents don't mind making that commute because of the quality of life we have here. The town has attracted businesses such as FedEx's World Tech Center to locate here.

One of the major points of interest in Covington is the Town Square. Established originally around the Town Square, Covington has grown from that "heart." The Town Square gives the community a small-town ambience that cannot be found anywhere else in the area. The square is surrounded by local businesses, as well as vintage railroad cars that are available for tours or private parties.

This small town atmosphere is one of the reasons for the explosive growth. Town planners have done an excellent job balancing the growth while maintaining the community atmosphere. Covington has positioned itself for growth through the planning of its infrastructure, but much has also been done to preserve the history of this great community.
