Big Spring Real Estate Information They say that everything is bigger in Texas. Well, that’s not entirely true. Big Spring, a great little city located conveniently between El Paso and Dallas is not bigger at all, and that is one of the cities defining characteristics.
Unlike many Texas communities of similar size, Big Spring's economy is not reliant on one or two industries. Even though oil related industry and agriculture played an important role in Big Spring and Howard County economies of the past, only about eight percent (8%) of the employed persons in 1990 reported that they were employed in these two groups. Today the community's economy is more diverse, consisting of varied industry and commercial types.
This diversity has led to remarkable growth in and around the area. The population grew 22% since last census and it doesn’t appear to be letting up anytime soon. This growth combined with the economic prowess of the city makes it a great place to do business and an even better place to live.
There are many properties available here, all at a decent price and you can get in there and buy or sell a new home very easily…this is a booming market after all. So take a closer look at Big Spring Texas, it has just about everything and it’s not even that big.
