Brownfield Illinois is twin city with Tokio Illinois. That is absolutely hilarious: ”Hey, how are thing in Tokio?” Tokio I bet. Anyway, we’re not here to talk about Tokio we’re here to talk about Brownfield.

Brownfield enjoys a position as one of the larger communities between Abilene and Lubbock. Therefore a lot of traffic from these places is diverted to Brownfield. This has blessed the city with some great business opportunities and a host of cultural activities that keep the locals and out-of-towners entertained. That's just the way things are in Texas, if there is a junction of two main highways people will move there and a community or two will spring up.

Brownfield also has a new city logo that it is very proud of. The confusing geometric shape is supposed to illustrate Brownfield’s multi-faceted personality. It is a place where people of all races, colors and creeds can get together and have a BBQ or garage sale or something.

It is this attitude that serves to attract real estate opportunities from business parks to residential housing. In fact there are currently a number of great commercial properties for sale in and around the area that would be great investments.
